Buy Implication of Marital Quality Essay

The overall underlying implication of marital quality is the overall level of satisfaction within a marital relationship (Bagarozzi, 1985). The psychometric approach in marital assessment can be thought to include any number of measures claiming to assess thoughts, feelings and behaviours that characterize the relationship of a couple (Keiser, Snyder, Wills 1981). Many questions have been raised about the constructs, or descriptive entities that are being used to implicate marital quality, so most researchers have devised their own methods based on similar and different constructs (Bagarozzi, 1985).

This paper will focus on intergrading dysfunctional and functional aspects of marital quality measurements that have been previously shown to be reliable and valid. It is hoped that by developing a measure that integrates family dysfunctions and family strengths, the product will result in a bipolar continuum for marital quality, and that this will enhance a better understanding for researchers and counselling psychologists to better employ and conduct their work.

Marriage quality refers to the range of descriptive terms used to evaluate the marital relationship. The constructs, or themes associated with marital quality differs among different scales used to measure this dimension (Bagarozzi, 1985).

Marital adjustment refers to a set of factors believed to be associated with the success of a marriage. A single definition can be quite difficult to construct because it involves a variety of psychological, personal, social and demographic factors that relate to any one individual couple (Demir & Fisiloglu, 2000).

Marital Satisfaction refers to the extent to which each spouse expresses their own satisfaction of their marriage (Bowden, 1978).
Marital Conflict refers to the process of couples interacting with each other on some level of discomfort and trying to resolve the discomfort in some way (Hamamci 2005).

Terms are always difficult to figure out. That is one of the things our paper writers can help with as well as offer a lot of other writing services to their customers.
